The policy

This policy applies to Crompton Controls, we recognize that all our activities interact with the environment and are

committed to minimising adverse impacts and improving process efficiency. ln particular, this is achieved through

our commitment to:

• comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations
• review the environmental impacts of our activities
• strive for improvement in environmental performance through identifying objectives and setting targets
• employ best practice to minimise pollution and waste and maximise the efficient use of resources
• involve employees and contractors in our environmental programmes and provide training where required
• engage in dialogue with suppliers and distributors to encourage their participation in environmental best practice.

Every employee has responsibility to help meet the requirements of this policy. All are invited to contribute ideas for

better practice. To this end, Crompton Controls will be audited annually by the health, safety and environmental

coordinator to:

• benchmark performance
• help identify and prioritise issues for improvement
• ensure legal compliance
• provide a framework to review our environmental objectives and update this policy when required.

The results of audits are communicated directly to the managing director and company board and appropriate action

is taken.
